Hey, I'm Aubrey!

 

 I am the artist and storyteller behind Marsh Girl Art. Born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina, the marsh has always been home to me-a place that continues to inspire everything I create.

From my little studio tucked between ancient live oaks at the edge of the creek, I capture the quiet, fleeting moments that make the Lowcountry so special. From fog settling over the marsh, leggy egrets wandering the creek, and the changing tides, my paintings begin with these moments.

I paint because the marsh has become a place of healing for me. In its quiet waters, shifting tides, and endless skies, I've found peace through life's broken places. Every painting is created with layers of depth, texture, and emotion, in the hope that the same sense of serenity and stillness I've found in nature might find its way into your home.
